Have More Questions?

Do you create logos without branding?

You can get a basic logo with no branding but we highly recommend getting the whole package so you can use it to build your brand.

What's the difference between brand strategy + identity?

Your brand identity is the pretty part of your brand. Your logo, typography, color palette and textures/patterns. Your brand strategy includes your target audience, the feeling it conveys, the customer journey and your marketing priorities. The brand strategy is what creates a strong, consistent brand.

What tools do you use + recommend?

You can find a list of all of my favorite tools and resources HERE. Please note, I only recommend resources that I have personally used and that I love.

How do I get visitors to my website?

You first need to create a marketing strategy. This is done during the brand strategy phase so you can get clear on where your target audience is spending their time. Is it online? Are they on Facebook or LinkedIn? Do you need to create blog posts or videos? Is it offline? What about local networking?

Once we determine your marketing strategy, we can help you drive traffic. After all, you can have the most beautiful and strategic website but it is useless if no one sees it.

How do I prevent my website from getting hacked?

The best way to prevent hacking is to select a good host. Our two favorites are Green Geeks and WP Engine. The next step is to be sure that WordPress, your plugins and your theme are updated regularly. Finally, although this does not prevent hacking, it does protect you to be sure that your site is backed up daily. Yes, your host might perform backups but it is recommended to keep additional offsite backups as well. Check out our maintenance packages.

What about SEO?

We design all of our websites with SEO in mind. This includes SEO-friendly URLs, mobile responsive design, internal and external links when appropriate, image optimization, appropriate heading usage, etc. But for more elaborate SEO, check out our partner company – you’ll love Melissa.
